Imagine there was a terrible script that was a big clusterfuck mix of Black Panther, The Little Mermaid, Thor, Avatar and even Game of Thrones. But that script was directed beautifully, with some great acting and (mostly) spectacularly well-made CGI. And you get Aquaman. The script is shit. Like really, really bad. Ocean Master is a good villain. Black Manta is a terrible villain. Amber Heard is terrific as Mera. Momoa is spot-on as Aquaman. And Defoe is really great as always. This is like a burger with great buns but terrible patty. The buns alone cannot give you a burger.
