My mind is in a confused state. I didn’t hate the movie for sure, but I definitely didn’t love it either. So I decided to make a pros and cons list. Here goes –
Pros – The cinematography, the colours, the editing, Ben Mendelssohn and Jude Law’s stunning performances. The second half of the second act was also really well written. SAMUEL L JACKSON IS DELIGHTFUL. Goose, the cat is also a gt. The first credit scene. The train scene.
Cons – The first half of the movie and then the third act are terribly written. Brie Larson gives the most bland and boring performance of her career. The cgi in the third act looks like a PS2 game. WHY TF IS SHE SO OVERPOWERED? The way Nick Fury loses his eye. The flashback scenes. The second credit scene.

Now I think that there’s a lot of good in the movie but sadly the bad outweighed it tremendously. I really wanted to love the movie but I couldn’t. It was disappointing. Carol Danvers deserves better.
