I know I’m breaking the first rule of Fight Club. But this movie is exceptional. I knew about the big twist beforehand, which made the experience different from what was intended by Fincher but still very fun. Because he lays down the clues for what is one of the greatest plot twists in cinema history everywhere in the movie. The concept and plot of this movie are amazing and how it deals with mental illnesses is unlike anything I have ever seen. So many movies and shows have taken inspiration from the grimy style and plot twist of this movie. My only complaint is that the first act feels disconnected, out of place and borderline boring compared to the thrill of the rest of the movie. This is a must-watch, especially if you’re into psychological thrillers and love a great plot twist.
