This is one of the most visually appealing films I have ever watched. Wes Anderson seems to have mastered his visual style with this movie. But it’s not the meticulous stop motion that makes this film so riveting and special. It’s an amazing storyline and acting that propel this beautiful film into your mind. There is no main character or main central plot, all these amazing storylines have such a distinct appeal and yet they’re all masterfully interwoven. My only complaint would be that all the Japanese dialogue is rudely interrupted by English narration and stuff which makes the Japanese dialogue, less enjoyable and memorable. This is a must-watch, especially for those who liked Anderson’s previous work like Fantastic Mr Fox and The Grand Budapest Hotel.
