DC GOT GOOD AGAIN! This is the best DCEU movie and the best DC movie since The Dark Knight. Zachary Levi is so charismatic and fun as Shazam! The storyline and the plot are also solid. But what makes this stand out is David Sandberg’s unique style. He’s a horror movie director from the Conjuring series. Does that sound familiar? That’s because that’s same as James Wan for Aquaman. Except, he pulls it off better. His direction and writing are so good that it steals the show. I read in a bunch of reviews that the villain is weak and I disagree. I think he’s a pretty good origin movie villain. But by far my favourite part of this movie is Billy’s brother/friend, Freddy. He is a scene stealer. He makes the best jokes and is the best child actor in the movie. I would recommend this movie 100%. If you’re looking to get into DC movies, this is the perfect start.
