The Two Popes 2019

This movie is not for everyone. 60% of this film is a conversation, so a mainstream, casual, movie-viewer will find it slow-paced and boring. But if you have a love for cinema and a love for writing, you WILL LOVE THIS MOVIE! It’s incredibly shot. It’s so well shot that you can just get lost in the movie. The dialogue is some of the best I’ve heard all year. And for a movie about religion, it’s very unique. It also impacted me personally in a very profound way. My only issue is that there are hints of a political agenda throughout the movie which becomes painfully apparent in the closing minutes. Nevertheless, this was a great movie and I really enjoyed it. If you have Netflix and a little class, then this movie is for you.
