I remember this being bad, I just forgot how bad. I think this terrible movie had to happen for the beautiful Mark Ruffalo Hulk to exist. So I think that’s a positive! But other than that, I’d have to be reaching for positives. I think Thunderbolt Ross is a compelling character and I’m glad he comes back in the MCU, but that’s pretty much it. This is a BAD movie. It’s bad on so many levels. It has shitty writing, direction, acting, cinematography. The CGI is atrocious. The villain is undercooked and barely written. Ed Norton seems to be confused as to what he supposed to do and his ego got to this film. Making them rewrite it several times and then giving himself a fake writing credit under the name “Edward Harrison” for some reason. There are so many confusing things about this movie. It’s too bizarre and odd to really dissect in any meaningful way. It has a lot of potential though, I’ll give it that. This should’ve been good, even great but it’s not. Thankfully the MCU picks up after this!
