I don’t really know why I watched this movie. It’s a documentary about Amish kids during the development period of ‘Rumspringa’ and how they experience life. It’s over an hour long and I found it while going deep down a rabbit hole on Wikipedia. It’s a good documentary, with mediocre production quality. It’s length definitely helps it. The most important character is Faron and he’s really likeable and following him is fun. It would be better if it gave us some deeper insight into Amish culture. The visuals are really interesting. The storylines are well told. There’s not much I can say about it because it’s A) very short and B) there isn’t much solid substance in it for me to critically analyze. It’s a fun watch that opens your eyes to new cultures.
