This film is a certified masterpiece. It’s genre-defining, it’s groundbreaking and there are so many film buzzwords I can think of to describe this experience but more than anything else, it’s relatable. I’m not even in college yet and I still related to so many parts of this film because there’s some thing so human and raw about this film. I had to think for a long time whether this was my favourite film of 2020 but in the end I decided to stick to Boys State but I still think this is a strong strong second place. The cinematography is so interesting cause of the way it frames situations and characters. Raiff is a phenomenal director and somehow he’s also acted brilliantly in this film and I can’t wait to see what he makes next
