Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993) – Reviewed 19th March 2019

Today, I had the privilege of watching the best Batman movie ever. And no, it’s not The Dark Knight. This movie is utter perfection. They took the best animated show ever made and turned it into a movie. In the Dark Knight, Batman is not the centre of attention. He’s turned into a supporting character to make way for the Joker. What if I told … Continue reading Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993) – Reviewed 19th March 2019

12 Years a Slave (2012) – Reviewed on 19th March, 2019

My goodness, this movie makes you uncomfortable. It’s extremely dark and takes an unflinching look at slavery. Steve McQueen’s direction is impeccable. Chiwetel Ejiofor is a fking revelation. Micheal Fassbender also gives the best performance of his life. Lupita Nyongo is really good in this movie. I also really enjoyed the small roles of Cumberbatch and Brad Pitt. There are some shots in this movie … Continue reading 12 Years a Slave (2012) – Reviewed on 19th March, 2019

Aquaman (2018) – Review on March 16th, 2019

Imagine there was a terrible script that was a big clusterfuck mix of Black Panther, The Little Mermaid, Thor, Avatar and even Game of Thrones. But that script was directed beautifully, with some great acting and (mostly) spectacularly well-made CGI. And you get Aquaman. The script is shit. Like really, really bad. Ocean Master is a good villain. Black Manta is a terrible villain. Amber … Continue reading Aquaman (2018) – Review on March 16th, 2019

The Godfather Part 2 (1974) – Reviewed March 15th 2019

DAMN, I really enjoyed this movie. It progresses the storyline beautifully, while also showing Vito’s rise to power. De Niro and Pacino are AMAZING. All the supporting cast does a great job (especially Diane Keaton and Robert Duvall). Coppola’s direction is impeccable as expected. And the three and a half hours fly by very quickly. My only issue with the movie was the amount of … Continue reading The Godfather Part 2 (1974) – Reviewed March 15th 2019

Leaving Neverland (2019) – Reviewed 14th March 2019

Holy fk I’m shook. This was a truly horrifying and eye-opening documentary. All these mofos that are still defending him just can’t comprehend that they’re idol is a terrible human being. You feel so much sympathy for these two men and for their families. That monster ripped their families apart. And what he did to them made them seriously fd up in the head. The … Continue reading Leaving Neverland (2019) – Reviewed 14th March 2019

Whiplash (2014) – Reviewed March 14, 2019

This movie is AMAZING! The direction is amazing, Miles Teller is amazing, JK Simmons is amazing. The music is amazing. The cinematography is amazing. It doesn’t follow a typical movie structure and that’s risky but it’s really well done. The entire movie is beautiful. but that ending, damn. I was physically shaking and out of breath because of how intense it was. It’s a freaking … Continue reading Whiplash (2014) – Reviewed March 14, 2019
